Relationship Reconnection Intensive

Service Description

The Relationship Reconnection Intensive is held over a weekend Saturday & Sunday. It can be facilitated online, or you can come to the office in Portlaoise. This starts with a 90 minute online session where we get to connect before the session and I get to know you both before the weekend. I then send you out several questionnaires that need to be filled in and returned to me prior to the weekend. The sessions run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, with breaks for lunch/coffee etc. This intensive gives you an insight into your relationship, and into the other person's perspective when you are experiencing conflict.. It also gives you an insight into why you react the way you do. I introduce strategies for developing your relationship, including communication, conflict management, and setting relationship goals that make sense for you both. I draw on a lot of different influences in relationship theory from the Gottmans, Ellyn Bader and Pete Pearson and Susan Johnson to name a few, I also provide a reading list before the weekend which you can draw on before or after the Intensive. We cover: * Goal setting in relationships, understanding your own and your partners' reactions in conflict, Trust and Commitment, Building a better Relationship.- setting goals and working together. * Communication - Barriers to Communication, Tools to increase your communication skills * Conflict - Identifying your pattern of conflict, understanding the why and finding a better way. * The neuroscience behind relationships and how you are in a relationship. This approach works best for couples where time is a scarce resource. It can be incorporated into a weekend away for you both to focus solely on your relationship, and can be more effective than coming for several weeks on an hourly basis. The cost of the Relationship Intensive is €1500 in total. This covers the initial meeting, the 2 days at the weekend and the handbook. An upfront payment of €500 secures the booking with balance due one week before the course commences.

Cancellation Policy

If you are cancelling or rescheduling your session please give 24 hours notice. If this is not received, a payment link for €80 will be sent. Once that is paid we can reschedule the session. . If you are cancelling due to a positive Antigen or PCR test, or due to having Covid symptoms the next session will be charged as normal.
